male Cricket Betting — From BPL to T20 World Cup
Bet on all three formats — T20, ODI and Test. At male, everything from popular cricket markets to live in-play betting is available in one place.
How betting works in each format
Cricket's three formats — T20, ODI and Test — each have their own pace and strategy. Understanding the format before you bet makes the experience much more enjoyable.
T20 — Fast and Intense
In this 20-over format, a single ball can turn the match around. Bangladesh supporters are most active during BPL, IPL and the ICC T20 World Cup. Odds change after every over, making this format especially engaging for live betting.
T20 · BPL · IPLODI — Fifty-Over Strategy
In ODIs, the game develops across 50 overs, so bets on Top Batsman and innings totals tend to be more popular here. ICC World Cup and bilateral series ODI matches feature world-class teams, which brings variety to the odds as well.
ODI · World CupTest — Five-Day Challenge
Test cricket is played over five days, and pitch conditions and weather play a big role in the result. Because a draw is possible, separate odds are available for three outcomes — Team A wins, Team B wins, or Draw. Test betting tends to be favoured by patient bettors.

Popular Markets and How They Work
Several markets are available for cricket betting at male. Below is a plain-language explanation of what each market involves.
A closer look at more markets
Beyond Match Winner, cricket offers many types of specialised bets. Each market has its own key points to watch.
Total Runs Over/Under
A bet on whether the total runs scored will be more (Over) or fewer (Under) than a set number. Example: will the total runs be more than 165 — this can be judged by the pace of the innings and the pitch.
Top Wicket Taker
A bet on which bowler will take the most wickets in the match. You can factor in the condition of the team's main bowler and how much the pitch is likely to assist bowling.
Multi Bet (Multiple Selections)
You can combine the results of multiple matches into one bet. If all selections are correct, your winnings increase, but if any one selection is wrong, the entire bet is lost.
Handicap Betting
A virtual deficit is given to the stronger team to balance the odds. Example: if Team A is given a 15-run handicap, Team A must win by at least 16 runs.
First Over Runs
A bet on exactly how many runs will be scored in the first over of an innings, or whether the total will be above or below a set number. This market is quite popular in T20.
Man of the Match
A bet on who will receive the Man of the Match award. Both batters and bowlers can be in contention, so odds are spread across multiple options.
Decimal, Fractional and American Odds
Odds may be displayed in three formats on male and other betting platforms. All three express the same probability — only the way they are written differs.
| Format | Example | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 3.00 | Total return = stake × 3.00 |
| Fractional | 2/1 | ৳2 profit for every ৳1 wagered |
| American (+) | +200 | ৳200 profit on a ৳100 bet |
| American (−) | -125 | Bet ৳125 to make ৳100 profit |
Worked Example 1 — Team A wins (stake ৳200)
Decimal 3.00 = Fractional 2/1 = American +200. A ৳200 bet returns a total of ৳600 if it wins (৳400 profit + ৳200 original stake); if it loses, ৳200 is gone.
Worked Example 2 — Favourite Team B (stake ৳200)
Team B's odds: Decimal 1.80 = Fractional 4/5 = American -125. American minus odds mean you need to bet ৳125 to make ৳100 profit. On a ৳200 bet, if Team B wins the total return is ৳360 (৳160 profit).
Multi bet odds: The odds of each individual selection are multiplied together to give the total odds. Example: 1.40 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 4.79 (approximately). A ৳100 bet returns ৳479 if all selections are correct — but if even one is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
In-Play Betting — odds change with every wicket
You can place bets at male even after a match has started. In in-play betting, odds update in real time after every wicket, over and boundary. Understanding these shifts makes betting more enjoyable.
-
When a wicket falls — if the batting team's key batter gets out, that team's odds of winning generally lengthen (they become less favoured), while the fielding team's odds shorten.
-
After the powerplay — in T20, how many runs are scored in the powerplay gives an indication of the pace for the rest of the innings. A big score keeps the batting team's odds favourable.
-
In the final overs — as the required run rate climbs, the defending team's odds become more attractive. Odds move quickly in the last 2–3 overs.
-
Rain or a break in play — if a weather delay results in a revised target under the DLS method, the odds will also shift significantly.
-
Know what the batting team needs — if 60 runs are needed off the last 5 overs, understanding where the pressure lies helps you make decisions in in-play markets.
Betting on more sports beyond cricket
Cricket is the main focus at male, but there are also opportunities to bet on football and other sports. The betting structure for each sport is different.
Football Betting
In football, a draw is a separate outcome alongside Match Winner — so odds are split three ways. Goal totals and both-teams-to-score bets are also popular in football. Compared to cricket, football matches tend to be lower-scoring, so the set line in Over/Under markets is lower.
Tournament Winner
Long-term bets on which team will win an entire tournament are available in both cricket and football. These bets can be placed well in advance, so the odds are generally higher, but you also have to wait longer for the outcome.
Virtual Sports
Virtual sports let you bet on computer-generated matches. The odds work the same way as real matches, but results are entirely algorithm-based. male Casino also offers similar fast-result games.
Difference from casino games
In sports betting, outcomes depend on real events in actual matches, while casino games such as slots or live casino are entirely RNG-based or run by a live dealer. The two experiences are different — those who follow cricket tend to prefer sports betting, while those who enjoy fast-result games head to the casino section at male bet.
What you should know before you start betting
These tips help make betting more informed and enjoyable. Betting is for entertainment — it should not be treated as a source of income.
Set a budget
Before each session, decide for yourself the maximum amount you are willing to bet. Stop when you reach that limit. You can find more details in male's guide on responsible gaming.
Focus on one market
Start by betting only on the Match Winner market. Once you are comfortable, gradually try Top Batsman or Over/Under.
Understand the odds before placing a bet
If you are not familiar with the odds format being displayed, calculating your return becomes difficult. Practice first using the examples above.
Be careful with multi bets
Multi bets offer higher returns but also carry higher risk. If any single selection is wrong, the entire bet is lost. Smaller multi bets (2–3 selections) are therefore safer than large ones.
Avoid rushing in live betting
Because odds change quickly in-play, there is a tendency to make hasty decisions. Watch how the match is going for a minute before placing your bet.
